Turkeys

We have Great Taste Award winning Organic turkeys available to buy directly from the farm. Our turkeys are a mixture of Norfolk Blacks and Bronzes, they are (very) free range and slowly grown.

Our turkeys have a life like no other... They spend their days working as our woodland managers.. Pecking around and enjoying the outdoor life under the 3000 young trees we have planted at the Inkpot. They nibble on leaves, seeds, berries and insects in a large area and get moved on to a new area each week, working their way around the whole field edge, foraging and fertilising as they go.

What size do I want?
The general recommendation is 2lb per person.. but get more if you have big eaters, or want plenty for making other meals and freezing for another day. Inkpot Organic Turkeys are £18.95/kg plus P&P. We have turkeys of a variety of sizes, but they will be reserved on a first come, basis. If we do not have the exact size you want it is best to go bigger and make a spare meal or two for the freezer (One family of 4 has made 24 meals from one of our turkeys!! We have a minimum turkey price at £59.95. Packaging (biodegradable and reusable) to keep the bird frozen is £8. Courier fees are £11. So, packaging and postage is £19.

To book a turkey fill in the form and pay the £40 deposit.

If it is convenient for you, a BACS payment is our preferred method. To

We currently have some lovely beef available. Why not add a nice joint for boxing day, or some steaks for christmas eve. Get in touch to find out what we have available..

"The best tasting Turkey ever!" Sarah

"We have had turkeys for the last four years and they are completely different from your supermarket purchase. They are tender and not dry and a different shape to turkeys reared in the factory farm. The taste is so much better and the bones make an excellent soup and broth!! We love em!! I can live on Turkey meat for a week and not get bored with it when it is this good!" Debbie

"This will be the fifth year we've bought an Inkpot turkey as the taste is so much better than anything we've got from the local butcher" Jeff

"We love the way you raise the turkeys which is evident in how delicious they are. We also love how low the footprint is on them." Rachel

"Your turkey converted some of my dry-turkey-hater friends into people who smile at the memory of the delicious surprise they had when they ate it!" Jan

"The turkey was the tastiest we have ever had. It cooked beautifully and worked superbly fir hot and cold meals - really delicious." Frances

"Delicious taste, ethically raised and worth every penny" Teresa

"A beautiful looking bird, nicely proportioned. The aroma suggests it has been well hung. Excellent flavour to the dark meat. All in all a fine eating experience" Great Taste Award Judge
